KHTK for putting someone else than Rant Napier and Mike Lamb at 4. I enjoyud Ross this week instead of those two. Maybe he should just replace them. I can actually handle Lamb, But Rant is awful.

Unbelievable, I drove home after work tuned in to KHTK to hear Grant talking about the NBA Draft and I hear women's basketball. I'm done with this station and the WNBA..you are all wimps! At least I then found the draft on the real sports station...ESPN 1320. Keep playing those girls games KHTK.

I knew that as soon as Grant Napier said the Kings would pick so and so that they certaintly would not do that. Has anyone noticed how much of the time Grant is wrong? For one thing, he has no imagination so he always goes with the crowd. And then Mike Lamb just goes a long with whatever Grant says. It's pretty amusing.

Yes it's hard to believe that the NBA would conspire to extend a series, that Stearn and the three officials would be lying about never doing something like that, but it was also hard to believe that Jose Canseco was telling the truth about steroids in baseball. But somehow this guy who had nothing to gain but a quick buck off a buck for this turned out to be truthful. So why can't we consider Tim Donaughy possibly truthful? The evidence is their. You can pretty much dismiss what anybody affiliated with the NBA has to say because they just want to protect the "integrity" (or lack their of of the game.) All i'm saying is that anybody who watched that game that night or who knows anything about basketball knows that their was something terribly wrong going on inside the Staples Center. Do I think that it will ever get proven and one of these officials or top league officials will fess up? No. But real basketball fans know the truth...

dan patrick is also still controlled by ESPN which is owned by Disney. He's subject to their censorship and rules, whereas Rome, and The Mike Show (along with the rest of the KHTK lineup) is not. I'm all for the new arena at Cal Expo. I think it will be a wonderful place for an arena and also it will boost the economy. I was listening to the Grant and Mike Show on Friday and I was listening to a caller talking about the traffic. i like Grant's point on the traffic. i been attending sporting events for years and traffic has always been an issue now matter how minimal or great.There is no way around traffic to sporting events ,concerts,etc.I love grant and Mike's show. They have an exceptional knowledge of sports and good insights. They are great. Keep up the good work and thanks.

I find Grant & Mike's slobbering, pandering, unobjective, pushing of this new arena disgusting. To add insult to injury they then have the nerve to insinuate that Sacramento listeners are dumb. It would be wise to do something because I find myself tuning into ESPN. The Monarchs simply aren't popular enough to justify the radio time they get, and what a waste of Koz' time. Koz is my favorite by far, but I still can't listen if it involves the Monarchs.

I think it is ok for the station to have a little bit of diversity. You dont need sports 24 hours per day. I dont know about a money show, but shows that are funny are welcome.

KHTK is far from being a sports station. I don't know what it is. They had a chance to add local sports talk in the afternoon but kept Mike "im boring" O'Meara. Now they've added a woman money show on Saturdays. What's wrong with these guys?

KHTK should have CD on from Noon to 4. He should also have hosts such as: Jason Ross, Scott Marsh, Sean Thomas, and Sean Cunningham. They would have a great show and really cover sports to the max. The Mike Show has only been on for 2 shows, give it time, it will be better with time. The Mike Show is still 100 times better than CD or any other monotonous, repetitive sports show. Throughout his D&M years and now, you always get the feeling that Mike has little interest or connection with the audience. He is most comfortable just BSing with those in the studio. This is where Don is missed most - his interest and connection with the audience.

I was disappointed in the top 5 today. I don't care about the arrest of Carmelo Anthony, the Seattle Supersonics's potential move. We all know the "Mike and Beth Ann Show" will be horrible. However, another sports talk show would be overkill - there's only so much going on in sport and Rome and Grant/Mike take care of that area. Is one of the requirements with this station is that you need to have a severe deviation in your septum so we can hear every breath you take while talking. I change the channel? Are you kidding? Dave fits in PERFECTLY with that slot. He is stuck in the worst slot on the station, and has grown the show into ratings gold. Give him an actual time when people are awake, and it will be amazing!! VOTE CDS IN 2008!!!

I would vote to keep Mike O'Meara on after Don leaves. I think it fits in well even though it's not a strictly sports show!

PLEASE do not put Carmichael Dave in D&M slot when Don retires. Carmichael Dave is terrible. I will switch to ESPN 1320 before I listen to that crap. Let the new PD know you want the Mike O'meara show!!!!

When will Grant and Jerry get the pronunciation of his name right? The Bee just ran an article where Beno said his name is NOT Bay-no or Bee-no. It is simply the name Ben plus O (Ben-o). His last name is pronounced "OO-dree" . Yet despite the article Jerry and Grant continue to call him Bayno Udrick. Jerry continually says Bayno Drano. Get it right guys!!

As a sports fan i've tried all the sports radio shows around Bay Area/Sacto only to return always to the Rise Guys on 1140. KCTC is boring...KNBR lame at least FP is interesting evening though he made a big mistake years ago. Keep the Rise Guys on.
